It is indeed a pleasure to offer this rare selection of prints from the very scarce work Tierleben im Ornament by G. Sturm, published in 1895, by Hoffman & Stuttgart. Sturm's ornamental creations depict various animals, insects, and sea life in natural habitat, often balanced by their prey or predator. The influence of Anton Seder, and Van Grieken is apparent in this highly decorative work, as each beautifully reflected the natural world in his art.  The ornamental designs are the epitome of grace and beauty so characteristic of the Art Nouveau period.  

Each lithograph measures approximately 14 by 19 1/2 inches on high quality heavy paper that is a light cream in color. The prints are in excellent condition with no foxing & the occasional lightly toned foredge.
