The work is of an unparalleled magnificence, large folio on superbly watermarked chain lined paper remarkably free of foxing or other blemishes. Each print has been colored according to heraldic specifications by a superbly skilled English colorist, whose chop is discreetly placed on the verso of the print. The single prints measure approximately 11 ¼ by 18 ¼ inches & most are accompanied by extensive family tree, varying from one to 4 pages long.
The condition of the work is extremely fine, the hand coloring superb & the family trees a magnificent addition to the treasure these prints represent for the families who have carried these names to the present day. It is a very scarce work, at over 250 years old & truly the pinnacle of genealogy & a rare value indeed.
