While our images are electronically watermarked, the antique prints themselves are not.
Ceroxylon Andicola KCV18 $165
Each print measures approximately 6
3/4 by 10 3/4 inches.
This unusual work, Les Palmiers, was edited by Oswald de Kerchove de Denterghem and published in Paris by J. Rothschild in 1878. They were drawn with consummate skill by M. de Pannemaker. It contains forty beautiful lithographs of palm trees from all over the world and numerous wood engravings. Les Palmiers
is one of the few comprehensive works on the species
from this era. These palms were selected from both hot
and cold climates for their beauty, vigor and ease of
cultivation.
Each print measures approximately 6 3/4 by 10 3/4 inches. The condition of these prints is good with little or no foxing on strong contemporary paper that is softly aged in color. On a few there are damp stains in the corner which will easily frame out. All of our prints are guaranteed to be authentic antique prints. These prints are over 120 years old.
