This series of chromolithographs come from Johnson's Household Book of Nature, "containing full and interesting descriptions of the Animal Kingdom based upon the writings of the eminent naturalists Audubon, Wallace, Brehm, Wood, and others." The prints come from the ORIGINAL volume published in 1880, and includes the descriptive text edited by Hugh Craig of Trinity College. Each print measures approximately 9 1/4 inches by 7 inches on a thick creamy paper, with some foxing at the margins from the tissue overlay.
