We are pleased to offer a selection of hand colored engravings from Hesperides sivu de Malorum Aureveorum by Giovanni Baptista Ferrari, published in 1638-1646. This wonderful work depicts a large selection of citrus fruit, all illustrated by the finest Italian artists of the day.

Each engraving has survived the centuries in excellent condition, and is on a fine chain-lined paper, with some bearing watermarks. Each engraving measures approximately 8 3/4 inches by 13 ½ inches, and has later hand coloring by one of the few remaining professional colorists. The photos are very accurate, so please review carefully. There is no descriptive text, but a color copy of the title page will be included with each print. All our prints are authentic antique prints and guaranteed to be from the date stated. These prints are over 360 years old!
