Saffron Crocus BTT32 $45
Each print measures approximately 8 1/4 inches by 11 inches.

This delightful work on fruits and flowers comes from British botanist Gilbert Thomas Burnett (1800-1835). He became the first professor of botany at King's College in London in 1831, but died only a few years later, the same year his "Outlines of Botany" was published. Almost twenty years after his death, his sister continued his legacy by editing and arranging the publication of "Encyclopedia of Useful and Ornamental Plants," based on her brother's research.

These prints are on strong creamy paper in vibrant hand-coloring. Each print measures approximately 8 1/4 inches by 11 inches and is accompanied by the descriptive text and a copy of the title page.
