John Hancock BTH4 $95
Each print measures approximately 6
1/2 inches wide by 10 inches long.
These images of famous
Americans in this country's first 100 years come from English illustrator William Henry Bartlett
(1809-1854). His popular series of American landscapes
and landmarks resulted from four trips to the United
States. After his death in 1854, these portraits were collected by B. B. Woodward and published as "History of the United States of North America."
Each print measures approximately 6 1/2 inches wide by
10 inches tall. The thick paper is strong and quite
white with little or no foxing. These prints
are in marvelous condition for their age of over 150
years.
