Salmon, Sturgeon DDH54 $125
Each print measures approximately 10 3/8 inches by 15 3/4 inches.

These finely-engraved prints on chain-lined paper are from the natural history section of the monumental Encyclopédie ou Dictionnaire des Sciences, des Arts et des Métiers by Denis Diderot & Jean le Rond D’Alembert. We have only a handful of these rare prints depicting sea creatures, corals and shells many done by Martinet. Each print, measuring approximately 10 3/8" by 15 3/4", has been painstakingly hand-colored by one of the last remaining professional colorists in Britain.
